Returns, Damages and Warranty

1. RETURN FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE:

  • WEB ORDERS:

    • POLICY:
      • All items can be returned for full refund or exchange (less freight) with the original invoice within 14 days of receiving the order.
      • All items returned must be unopened and in their original packaging with the factory seal intact.

    • PROCEDURE:
      • Request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) prior to returning the item.
      • Once you receive the RA#, pack the item securely and send it back pre-paid to:

        • 39 Orfus Road Unit B-1
        • Toronto, Ontario, M6A1L7
      • Once we receive the item, we will issue a refund (less freight)

 

  • WEB PICKUP ORDERS:
    • We would like you to pickup your order within 14 days after you get the notification that the order is ready. If you no longer wish to pickup your order then let us know within 14 days so we can cancel the order and issue you a refund. If you don't pickup your order or contact us within 14 days then after that we will not be able to cancel your order and issue you a refund.
  •  IN STORE PURCHASES:
    • ALL NEW ITEMS: New, unopened items can be returned for exchange or full refund with the original receipt within 7 days of purchase. All items returned must be unopened and in their original packaging with the factory seal intact.

    • ALL PRE-OWNED ITEMS: Pre-owned items are not returnable unless defective and covered under warranty.  Defective items covered under warranty will be replaced with the identical item

 

2. DAMAGED BOXES:

  • We do our best to pick products that are in pristine condition; but occasionally some (especially heavy) boxes have very minor damages like dents, tears at the corners of the box or a slight cuts in the plastic wrap. These are considered normal and will not be eligible for any discounts or compensatiions.

 

3. MISING OR DAMAGED PIECES/CARDS:

  • Most manufacturers/publishers will provide service for missing pieces and manufacturing issues, we request that you please contact the publisher or manufacturer regarding all missing pieces and manufacturing issues.  If you need assistance with contact information please email us using the Contact Us page and we will direct you to the appropriate publisher/manufacturer.

 

4. WARRANTY INFORMATION ON VIDEO GAMES:

  • 90 day warranty on most new and used video games, game consoles and accessories
  • 30 day warranty on used console systems
  • No warranty on used hand-held systems
  • Warranty covers manufacturing defect only.  Does not cover wear & tear and misuse.  Defective items will be tested and if found defective, will be repaired or replaced with identical item.
  • Most video game warranty issues are handled by Game Shack.  You don't need to contact the publisher/manufacturer for most warranty issues.
